Mini

The car-manufacturing company Austin Motor Company Ltd for production Minis was set up in 1905. In 1922 the first model "Austin Seven" saw the world, and in 1928 its competitor "Morris Minor" appeared.

The first Mini cars came off the assembly line in August 1959. In less than 3 years they conquered the roads of the whole world, they became especially popular with women-drivers. The first Mini with a convertible top entered the market in 1963. Two years later Mini with an automatic transmission appeared.

In 1969 the design of the car was changed, security parameters were improved and the payout of the dashboard was redesigned. The model Mini Clubman Estate replaced Morris Mini Traveler and Austin Mini CountryMan. The same year the trademark of the company was registered and the company itself changed its name for British Leyland Motor Corporation.

In 1971 Mini cars became the best selling English cars in the world. In 1995 the magazine Autocar named Mini cars the best cars of the century and in 1999 it was recognized as "The best car of Europe of the 20th century". In 1997 the market saw a new Mini and in 2001 - Mini One and Cooper were launched in mass production. Next year a new Mini Cooper S entered the market.

The Mini cars are constantly improved surprising its customers by the exquisite design and absolute comfort.
